Joomla 3.x. How to set up a breadcrumbs module

First, log into your Joomla admin panel and navigate to Extensions –> Module manager section.

Press New button at top left and select module type Breadcrumbs among the list of available items:

Enter a title for this module and configure the main options:

Show “You are here” option defines if you need to display breadcrumbs pre-text;

Show Home option defines if you need to display main site page in the path;

Text for Home Entry allows to insert custom title for main page item (available if previous setting is set to Yes);

Show Last option defines if you need to display the last element in the path;

Text Separator field allows to insert custom text separator:

Then select module position on the right side, define if you need its title to appear and choose module language if your site is running multilingual:

Go to Menu assignment tab and choose the pages for module to show up. Set to “on all pages” by default.

In Advanced tab you can enter custom css class in the Module Class Suffix field if needed and specify module width setting Bootstrap Size (12 for fullwidth page):
These are all the settings, you have successfully added Breadcrumbs module to the site pages and configured it. Go to site frontend to check the result:
