This tutorial shows how to update Monstroid version 1.0.0-1.0.3 to the latest version.

1. Go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins and make sure that plugin Monstroid Wizard is installed and activated. Sometimes, Monstroid Wizard plugin may not be installed in your WordPress. You can download the plugin on the template delivery page in such case:

   

2. Go to Appearance -> Themes section. Check version of Monstroid by opening Theme Details:

   

3. There we can check version of Monstroid:

   

4. We recommend that you perform backup of Cherry options and WordPress content before performing update. You can find information on how to perform back up in the appropriate tutorial.

5. Now we should Activate Cherry Framework:

   

6. Open Monstroid Theme Details. Delete Monstroid theme using delete button in lower right corner (please note that all changes performed to Monstroid files will be replaced with updated files). Be sure to back up customized files:

   

7. Monstroid Wizard will offer you to install Monstroid theme. In some cases such notification may not show up. Make sure that you have installed the latest version of Monstroid Wizard plugin and accessed wizard in Tools -> Monstroid Wizard section of WordPress dashboard. Click on Install theme:

   

8. In some cases Monstroid Wizard may ask to enter the license key. You can find it on the template delivery page. Install Monstroid Main Theme:

   

9. Theme installation is in progress:

   

10. Theme was installed. IMPORTANT: DO NOT install sample data. Skip this step:

    

11. Go to Appearance -> Themes. Check version of Monstroid in Theme details. Monstroid was updated to the latest version:
