Joomla 3.x/VirtueMart 3.x. How to work with 6Maps module

This tutorial shows how to work with 6Maps module.

1. Go to Extensions -> Module manager. Open 6Maps module:

   

2. We can set position, ordering and language on Module section:

   

3. Menu Assignment section allows assigning module to specific menus:

   

4. You can set map settings in Map options. There you can change address, map type, level of zoom. Please check the screenshot of modified settings:

   

5. You may also enable\disable different kinds of map controls:

   

6. Marker and info Box Options can be used for setting up marker. Marker infowindow allows changing info text. Always show an info box option defines if infobox appears all the time or just by clicking on pointer. You may also change Marker icon. Make sure that new icon has .png format. You can change Marker title as well:

   

7. Advanced section can be used for setting settings like module background, module class suffix, etc.:

   

8. Save changes and check your site. We have changed 6Maps module settings. Layout of Google map was changed as we have set hybrid type of map:
